2nd Annual Lithopolis Honeyfest to be held Saturday, September 6, 2008, from 10 am to 6 pm on the picturesque grounds of The Wagnalls Memorial.

We are Ohio’s only honey festival and one of a handful of honey festivals in the nation. With it’s popular theme and extraordinary location, we believe this event to be just one more opportunity for festival planners to bring tourism to Ohio.

In 2007, the Honeyfest generated approximately 2500 visitors. We were also the proud recipient of Ohio Arts Council funding. We fully expect 2008 to be bigger and better.

The American Honey Princess, Rachel Bryson, will be our honored guest along with many other interesting activities of the day—bee beards, honey tasting, observation hives and beekeeping education, honey cook-off, fine quality artisans and continuous live music.
