Home Schooled children and their families can start their day at the Visitor Center, where you’ll purchase your admission to the Living History Tour, receive a map and information, visit the Exhibit Hall, and view Ditches of Destiny in the theater. Arrive before 3pm in order to take the full Living History Tour!

Interpreters and crafters will be ready to welcome you as you visit the Living History Buildings at your leisure. LISTEN to the sound of the blacksmith’s hammer on the anvil, PRINT a bookmark on an early 1900s press, GRIND coffee beans at the doctor’s house, WRITE on a slate board at the one-room school, and LEARN about 1800s medical practices at our NEWEST exhibit, Dr. Johnson Office!
